New Programs/ Program Changes

Burning glass  is a labor market tool that allows users to assess alignment between academic programs and labor markets. The University currently has access to two products (labor insight and program insight) that merges data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), IPEDS (Department of Education), and actual job postings. Programs use these tools to assess curriculum alignment, potential salaries and employment opportunities, and identify business partnerships. For more information please contact OSPIE.

CPE Policies

CPE has a number of policies and resources related to New and Existing Programs.  OSPIE supports state regulatory requirements related to new program, program changes, and program review.  Please contact OSPIE directly if you have any questions related to these areas.

University Senate

OSPIE works closely with the University Senate to support program changes and new program proposals. However, these are separate, but related, processes.
